Welcome to the Psychology Place. As Clinical Director I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and give you a little information about my background.

After qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist following passing my Clinical Psychology Doctorate in 2009, I worked in the NHS in mental health services for both adults and children, holding senior and clinical lead roles in these areas. I started a private practice on a part time basis in 2012 alongside my NHS work, and in 2019 made the decision to dedicate my time fully to this and to focus on setting up a practice that I felt could really make a difference to the lives of the people who access our services. This included taking on our own dedicated therapy room in an accessible location to provide the base for our clinic.

As we have expanded we have taken on other clinicians and administrative staff to help the practice grow and to widen the services we can offer, keeping quality at the centre.
